Udi’s Gluten Free: New Products on the Horizon
If you are Gluten Free and haven’t tried an Udi’s product, you don’t know what you are missing. I have seen comments on my Face Book page where defeated gluten-freers write under my Udi’s reviews they have given up on trying GF breads and can’t take another disappointment.
If that describes you – don’t give up yet! There are several companies putting out some awesome Gluten Free bread products, and right at the top of that list is Udi’s Gluten Free Foods. They have definitely cracked the code to soft, airy, tasty gluten free bread.
Their current product line includes White and Whole Grain Sandwich Bread, Bagels, Cinnamon Rolls, Granolas, Pizza Crust, Lemon Streusel Muffins, Blueberry Muffins, & Double Chocolate Muffins. (Click for ingredients and more product information.)
Udi’s has released some of their exciting development plans, but no release dates – so don’t ask where you can get these. You can’t yet – but watch for them!

- New Muffin Flavors including a Bran Muffin
- Hamburger and Hot Dog Buns

Udi’s is available at Whole Foods, some Safeways (Colorado) and many specialty/health food stores. Use their store locator to find them nearby.

I haven’t seen any gluten free granola made by Udi’s. I buy many Udi’s GF products at my King Sooper here in Colorado. I have found Udi’s granola and it was sitting next to their gluten free products but it didn’t have any gluten free labeling on it. Are you sure that they have GF granola? I mistakenly purchased some artisan bread made by Udi’s thinking it was GF only to discover upon further scrutiny that it wasn’t GF. They didn’t claim that it was, I just had assumed it was since it was made by Udi’s.

Udi’s has two product lines, manufactured at separate facilities, one gluten free and one that’s not. Their GF granola (as well as all their GF products) are clearly marked gluten free. They do make GF granola. My City Market (same as King Soopers) here in Durango, just started carrying it, keep trying!
So glad to hear they are going to be making a hamburger bun! We found a good one at Whole Foods made by Canyon Bakehouse in Boulder. We don’t have a Whole Foods here though. You don’t say where in Colorado you are, maybe you have a Whole Foods near you.

I live in Colorado Springs, CO and the place I have found the Udi’s GF Granola is at Whole Foods. I know they sell a non gluten free version at Costco but at Whole Foods here _ the one off of Powers has 3 GF granola’s to choose from.

Not only are Udi’s GF bagels FANTASTICO taste and consistency-wise, they are also soft enough for my celiac daughter to eat with BRACES. She loves being able to have a sandwich for lunch at school with the bread. We have not tried the coveted Chocolate Muffins because when we’ve gotten to a place that carries them, they’ve been SOLD OUT.
