Not only will Gluten Intolerant folks have some tasty Gluten Free ballpark fare on August 31 at the Safeco Field, they’ll even get their own section of seats!
According to Sports.Net, Gluten Intolerant fans can buy discount tickets for the special Gluten-Free section for $11 (regularly $20) and the concession will be stocked food items that fit their strict dietary restrictions. Available online only at www.mariners.com/glutenfree.
“Safeco Field already features several gluten-free options at concession stands such as halibut and chips at Sound Seafood at Section 248 that are made with rice flour, nachos, peanuts and popcorn and Redbridge beer made from Sorghum. On August 31, the stand at Section 347 will feature gluten-free hot dog buns (the dogs themselves are all meat and contain no gluten), and Redbridge beer.”
