Soy-Glazed Flank Steak- (gluten free, dairy free, egg free)
By: Lisa Amnotte
Old grill recipe I have from 20 years ago. If you don't want to brush the "raw marinade" on the meat - I make a little extra marinade and place it in a plastic container for brushing on the meat.

Caramel color is not always gluten-containing (coke is an example.) It depends on what its origin is. Many GF people use La Choy Soy Sauce.
The Con-Agra labeling policy says if there was wheat in the caramel color it would say wheat right after it. "If Natural Flavors, Artificial Flavors, or Spices listed in the ingredients list contain wheat, oat, barley, or rye, these ingredients would be listed in parenthesis immediately following the ingredient. An example would be - Natural Flavor (barley) or Spices (rye)."
