Nelly's Savory-Flavory Pork & Rice

Ingredients
- 1/2 - 3/4 lb. cubed or ground pork
- 1 large yellow onion sliced, then quartered
- 1/4 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 2 - 3 teaspoons Herb Ox chicken instant bouillon
- 2 cups medium grain rice
- 3 1/4 cups water
- 3 - 4 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- Peas and/or corn on the side. I like to put them under my rice dish so when I spoon it up I get some veggies too. You can put the veggies in for a one dish meal.
Directions
- Put oil in frying pan and use med/hi heat to cook the pork.
- Add onions and saute until translucent.
- Add all the dry seasonings and stir thoroughly.
- Add rice and stir through and fry it just a little.
- Add water and bring to boil. Cover tightly and turn down to low. Let cook 20 min. DO NOT remove the lid until the rice is done.
