Fruit Cobbler Super Speedy (gluten free, egg free, can easily be dairy free)

Servings: 8 servings
Ingredients
- 1 can 20 oz. fruit pie filling any flavor (or 3 cups fresh or frozen berries)
- 1 cup gluten free biscuit or roll mix*
- 1/4 cup milk**
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter softened
- whipped cream if desired
Directions
- Spread pie filling (or use 3 cups fresh or frozen berries) in ungreased 1 ½ quart casserole. Place in cold oven and turn on to 400°, and let heat for 10 minutes. Remove from oven
- While pie filling is heating, stir remaining ingredients. Drop dough by 6 spoonfuls onto warm pie filling. Sprinkle with additional sugar, if desired.
- Bake 15 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve with whipped topping.
