Latin Flan (gluten free)

Servings: 8 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 - 12 oz. can of evaporated milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla (optional)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. In a medium (All metal) saucepan over medium-low heat, melt sugar until liquefied and golden in color.
  3. Once the sugar is liquified, turn saucepan to cover the entire inside of the saucepan. Let is cool.
  4. Meanwhile, mix in a blender, the evaporated milk, condensed milk, 3 eggs and vanilla.
  5. Pour the mixture into the caramelized pan and cover.
  6. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool (do not cool in the refrigerator because it will harden the caramel). Once cool, turn pan upside down unto a large plate. Chill and enjoy!
