Extra-Creamy Cheesecake (no crust) (gluten free)

I have been GF since 1990. It is so great that companies are now listening to our needs. I have been making this recipe for years and my family delights in it and asks for it even though none are GF.

Servings: 7 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound cream cheese
- 2/3 cup + 3 Tablespoons sugar
- dash salt
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Need I say always check ingredients.
Directions
- Beat cheese until fluffy.
- Gradually beat in 2/3 cup sugar and dash of salt.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Beat until smooth.
- Add almond flavoring and pour into buttered 9" pie pan.
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool away from drafts for 20 minutes.
- While cooling, mix together sour cream, 3 tbls. sugar, dash of salt and vanilla. Pour over top of cake and return to oven for 10 minutes. ENJOY!
