Baked Pecans

My sis Steph is to thank for this recipe. They disappear quickly at my house. It's great for the holidays. You can use other nuts in place if pecans if you like. Preheat oven to 250 °

Servings: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp. water
- 1 lb. pecans halves or pieces
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ t. salt
- ½ - 1½ t. ground cinnamon or more to taste
Directions
- Beat egg white lightly.
- Add water beat until frothy but stiff.
- Fold in pecans coat well.
- Add sugar, salt, cinnamon.
- Spread on large greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 250 ° for 1 hour. Turn pecans ½ way through baking process.
- Leave pecans in oven. Turn oven off. Remove pecans after oven is cool.
- Keep in airtight container.
