BASIC GF FLOUR MIXTURE (and additives)

By: Marjorie

You will probably have to get the flours at an Asian Market. This will make a large canister of all-purpose GF flour. Also get you some xanthan gum or guar gum at Whole Foods or a Kroger Signature Store. You will need this to add to your individual recipes. Also get some active-dry yeast and corn starch to use in your bread recipes.
Details
Ingredients
  • 3 cups fine white rice flour
  • 1 cup potato starch flour
  • 1/2 cup tapioca starch flour
Directions
Mix flours well with a large fork or slotted spoon in a large canister or storage container. Measure and use just like regular wheat flour. (This flour mixture is fine, though, and it will "fly", so measure and use carefully.)
