WOW Baking’s New Gluten Free Bagged Cookies: WOW!

WOW! These cookies are appropriately named! The five soft new flavors of WOW Baking’s Bagged Cookie goodness will leave you surprised that they are gluten free. These new mini cookies (compared to the individually wrapped super large sized WOW cookies) are in a re-sealable bag – plenty to share, but you won’t want to.

As I tried these moist, flavorful and hearty bites, I couldn’t help but think back on how far gluten free baked goods have come in the past few years. These are definitely addictive, and you are pretty well guaranteed to find at least one flavor that you love.

The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) has just named WOW’s all-natural wheat and gluten-free Lemon Burst Cookies the Outstanding Diet and Lifestyle Product of 2012. Drawing a record 2,520 contenders in 32 awards categories, 2012 was the most competitive competition in the sofi Awards’ 40 year history, and it’s amazing that a gluten free baked product won! This spring, a national panel of specialty food professionals narrowed the field to 125 Silver Finalists in eight days of judging at NASFT offices in New York City. The winners were selected by buyers who evaluated the products and cast votes at the Summer Fancy Food Show that ended Tuesday, June 19, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

WOW Baking makes their products in a dedicated gluten free facility and uses all natural ingredients like real butter, real vanilla and organic cane juice. They never contain hydrogenated oils, refined sugars, artificial flavors, or of course wheat and gluten!

All of these flavors are awesome, but I’m listing the cookies below in the order that I like them with my favorites first. For my personal taste, I will be buying the top three again and again.

Snickerdoodle:
A moist and chewy cookie packed with the delicious flavor of cinnamon and sugar.

Lemon Burst:
Enjoy refreshing burst of lemon flavor from these light and soft baked treats. These cookies taste like a little burst of summer!

Chocolate Chip:
WOW Chocolate Chip Cookies are moist chewy and packed with rich, delicious flavor. Take a bite of this chocolate chip cookie, you’ll definitely want another.

Peanut Butter:
WOW peanut butter cookies are made with all natural, crunchy peanut butter, and packed with peanutty flavor.

Ginger Molasses:
These are a must for any ginger lover – An amazing molasses cookie with bits of real ginger…where’s the coffee & tea?
