Udi’s Lemon Streusel Muffins

We are just beginning to see Udi’s products show up in the Whole Foods stores in my city. I picked a box of their Lemon Streusel Muffins the other day and was really pleasantly surprised by the taste and texture.
I wouldn’t call them light and fluffy, but moist and dense would more describe them. Light and fluffy would please me more, but for a gluten free product, these are at the top of the list. They reminded me of a nice, gluten-filled pound cake with a just a hint of lemon.
They were $6.99 for four large muffins in the box with a slight dusting of crumb topping (more would have been welcomed!) After his first bite, my son announced, “These will be gone in two days!”
Sugar is the first ingredient – oh well, can’t have everything.
Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Soy Free, Nut Free
Check out the review for Udi’s Sandwich Bread.
They look good but the amount of sugar in them was insane so I didnt’ buy them.. They should try agave instead.
for some reason i didnt like it at all i am sticking to Katz honey muffins for a good muffin and coffee
The UDI Bread is delicious
WELL, I WILL TELL YOU THIS. I BOUGHT THESE MUFFINS AND BEFORE I RUN OUT OF THE FOUR PACK,I AM BACK AT WHOLE FOODS TO GET ANOTHER BOX. I KEEP THEM IN THE FRIDGE AND TREAT MYSELF TO HALF A MUFFIN AFTER DINNER. SOMETIMES I EVEN PUT A LIL SMATHERING OF FROSTING ON TOP!(DON’T TELL ANYONE…SHHHH) I HAVE BEEN SO CAKE AND MUFFIN DEPRIVED SINCE I HAVE BEEN EATING GLUTEN FREE, AND THESE ARE SO GOOD. THE CHOCOLATE MUFFINS AND THE BLUEBERRY ARE EQUALY DELICIOUS. AND UDI’S BREAD AND BAGELS ARE A GIFT FROM HEAVEN AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED. GLUTEN,DAIRY AND SOY FREE. EXACTLY WHAT I NEED. AND RIGHT THERE ON THE FRONT LABLE. THE FIRST TIME I HAVE NOT HAD TO DECIPHER THE INGREDIENTS ON A PACKAGE IN QUITE SOME TIME. THANK U SOOOO MUCH FOR THESE PRODUCTS! 10+ STARS
