Product Review: NEW Jules Gluten Free Bread Mix

There are few things better than the smell of bread baking in the house on a cool fall day. With gluten free breads, the smell even usually exceeds the taste. You know what I mean if you’ve baked much gluten free bread.
Jules new Gluten Free Bread Mix is one loaf that actually tastes as good as it smells! It’s moist and spongy, just like “real“ bread and the taste is awesome. I’ve given some to 4 testers so far, and they all love the texture and taste. It is soft and definitely not crumbly in any way.
This bread mix uses gluten free whole grains that you can see in the bread. It’s fortified with vitamins and minerals so you can feel good about it not being empty carbs. It’s not exactly white and not exactly dark – just a nice golden medium. Soft inside and crispy crusty outside.
To the dry mix and yeast that come in the bag, you add your own:
- 2 Tbs. honey or agave nectar
- 1 1/4 cup plain yogurt (not Greek yogurt), dairy or non-dairy (use vanilla flavored yogurt for a sweeter bread)
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 large eggs or egg substitute
I often see complaints of the money wasted on poor gluten free products. This is a great product, but if you are skeptical, Jules has a no risk policy! “If you’re not satisfied with your Jules Gluten Free product, simply contact customer support and share with us your concern. If we are unable to resolve your concern to your satisfaction, we will offer you a 100% refund of the purchase price.“
There’s been some out on my kitchen counter for a few days now and is still nice and soft. I’ll be making this bread often!

Jules products are not available in Australia – are there any plans to rectify this? I would like to try them if I could.
I’ll ask what the plans are, Edwina.
yikes, as much as I’d love to try, being sick and on Disability does not allow for $10 loaves of bread.
What is non-dairy yogurt?? Will I be able to make it successfully without soy & dairy products
Hi,
I’m interested in making the gluten free bread.
Where can I purchase the bread mix?
I live in Edmonton AB
Jules’ products are generally quite good. However, as much as I love the smell of fresh bread in the oven, $10 for a mix is quite cost prohibitive. I hope she is able to bring the price down at some point in the near future.
LOVE Jules flour mix! I was diagnosed with Celiac this past August and I’ve tried just about every flour out there and finally saw the website for Jules – I’m on my 3rd bag of it. Made dozens of different cookies for Christmas and no one could tell they were Gluten-Free. Thank you Jules!
Sounds yummy!!!

I’ve been gluten free for 8 months, this book would make that easier.
The bread mix would be fun to try as well.
I just learned I have celiac desease. I am so confused about what to eat and what not to eat. All I know is bread and pasta makes me sick. So yes I would like to win the GF bread so I can try and HOPE to like it!
