French Meadow Bakery’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is Certified Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Peanut Free, Casein Free, Trans Fat Free . . . and you’re probably thinking “Taste Free” by now, but you’d be wrong! These delicious cookies come out very nice, large, moist and chocolately. Just pop the dough onto a cookie sheet for 12-15 minutes, and you have a great treat for one or up to nine, depending on how many you make, no measuring or mixing, and pretty much the size of a mall cookie. Pleasantly surprising and not even a hint of that usual gluten free crumble!
Ingredients:
Potato starch, semisweet chocolate (evaporated cane juice, chocolate liquor, cocoa butter), brown sugar, organic palm oil, eggs, invert sugar, sugar, expeller pressed canola oil, tapioca starch, contains less than 2% of the following: leavening (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, monocalcium phosphate), xanthan gum, salt, natural vanilla flavor.
I get mine at Whole Foods in the freezer section, but use this store locator to find them near your house.

It would be great if the Commissary would get some of these products. When you move from installation to installation it is hard to find the foods you like especially if you are new to a town. Please do not forget your military when new products come out.
Hey Kim- Can you get any gluten free products in a typical Commissary?
These are wonderful but they dont say Soy Free so we stopped buying them.
they dont list soy does anyone know if they clean their lines good?
thanks.
Andrea,
I don’t know about how they clean their lines, however, I emailed the company with questions about their products containing Canola oil (technically a GF item, but I react to it) and received 2 very helpful emails from 2 folks in the company. They genuinely conversed back and forth with me via email and seemed concerned about meeting the needs of customers. So go on their website and ask.

Actually I was not overly impressed with this product. The chips are too small and the consistency of the cookie is similar to a store-bought cookie rather than homemade which I found very unappealing.
Someone on the FB site asked if this product is available in Australia. Here’s what the company says: “The cookie dough can not be shipped through the mail because it has to stay frozen. I would doubt that the product is sold in Australia but if their store orders through any US Distributors than it is possible that they would be able to get it.”
@Andrea….I just bought a box yesterday and it says “Manufactured on shared equipment with soy.” hope this helps…….I was excited to find these because my daughter has a peanut allergy which means no baked delicious cookies from the bakery:( hopefully she likes them
@Kim & @Nancy,
Our Commissaries have begun placing a LOT of GFCF items, especially GF, on the shelves over the course of the past year. I am in the process of generating a list for my readers and myself as our son needs to be on the diet. Additionally, if there is an item that you are interested in purchasing that they do not have, if you can obtain the UPC# and quantity that comes in the box, they can, at times, place a special order for you.
Hope this helps!

Kay
