Looking for a new gluten free snack or breakfast food? Look no further. Bakery On Main’s new Soft & Chewy Bars may be just what you’re looking for. Choose from three delicious flavors that are sweet enough for kids to love, but sophisticated enough for discriminating adults.
In case you are wondering, they contain NO GMOs • NO Dairy • NO Casein • NO Wheat • NO Trans Fat • NO Cholesterol. They are made with certified gluten free oats, Amaranth & Quinoa for a great source of whole grains and are made with flax & chia seeds for a great source of Omega 3 & Omega 6 essential fatty acids. Believe me, with that healthy list, they taste much less like health food than they actually are!
There is a whole row of bars and granolas, many of which are gluten free, at my local Whole Foods store, and many of which are terrible tasting. Bakery on Main stands out on that row with products that try a unique take on the traditionally expected that I appreciate. You can tell from looking into their granola bag that you are getting something different. I already love Bakery on Main’s granola, so I suspected I was in for a treat when I tried these bars, and I was definitely not disappointed.
The bars are pull-apart and soft, full of flavor and chewy goodness. Each distinctive taste will hit the spot depending on your mood. The Chocolate Almond Soft & Chewy Bars are full of dark chocolate chips and almonds surrounded with crispy corn flakes and toasted rice, flax, chia, amaranth, quinoa and gluten free rolled oats – when you just need some chocolate. That’s a dessert you can feel good about!
Peanut Butter & Jelly Soft & Chewy Bars are my favorite. It’s a blast of strawberry jelly with a hint of peanut butter. Made with real peanut butter and dried strawberries, it will definitely remind you of your old lunch box favorite, but in a convenient, tasty, to-go form. Good and good for you.
The third flavor is the Apple Cinnamon Soft & Chewy Bars. Very fruity, with a hearty texture. Made with real apples and cinnamon – like an apple pie to go, but better for you!
All three are delicious. I’d love to see a variety box so I could have them all, but if you buy all three boxes, they will be eaten! These are perfect to throw in a lunch box or purse. Take them on a plane ride or a bike ride. Breakfast, snack or dessert!
You can find Bakery On Main products in many retail stores – use their store locator here or order from their website.
I’m sorry to say that they only sent me three to try, so they were gone long before I got to take any pictures!
Nancy,
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a granoloa bar with Amaranth & Quinoa, which are great sources for betalains, a powerful antioxidant that helps fight inflammation. Thanks for sharing. I’m going to go out and buy some boxes. Thanks.
